The Halo series, which is strongly associated with consoles from Microsoft, was initially available only as Xbox exclusives. The origins of this title date back to 2001, when the first part of the series called Halo: Combat Evolved was created by Bungie. This studio created the first three full-length parts of the game, crowning its series in 2010 with the release of the Halo: Reach expansion. Already in 2011, the series was taken over by 343 Industries. It was then that a new, refreshed version of the first part of the game called Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary was created. Studio 343 Industries has not been idle for a moment, every dozen or so months releasing another full-length part of the game or an expansion to it.
In 2014, right after the release of the Xbox ONE console, Studio 343 Industries once again pleasantly surprised Halo fans. On November 11, the bundle pack Halo: The Master Chief Collection was released, which included the first few parts of the game in refreshed versions.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection included, of course, the studio's first part of the game, but also Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Over time, the Halo 3: ODST expansion was added to the bundle. However, the surprises for the loyal fans of the series did not end there! In 2019, Halo: The Master Chief Collection was also released on PC, offering players one more surprise - the last game in the series created by Bungie, i.e. Halo: Reach.
