Por lo demás, la otra novedad de esta actualización es la posibilidad de jugar, ahora sí, las cuatro campañas del juego en modo versus, permitiendo por fin acceder a los mapas de las campañas 'Death Toll' y 'Dead Air', que no eran accesibles en dicho modo de juego. Para ello han tenido que hacerse algunos cambios en los mismos, en aras de obtener un mejor balance entre ambos equipos.
Lo mejor de todo es que, a juzgar por las declaraciones de la gente de IGN, la expansión del juego se encuentra casi finalizada, con lo cual es de esperar que Valve cumpla la fecha de lanzamiento e incluso podamos disfrutar de la misma a inicios de la primavera, en lugar de en el mes de junio, como nos temíamos algunos.
La expansión, recordemos, será gratuita tanto para PC como para Xbox 360
