PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is a multiplayer action game that pits players in the battlefield a la Battle Royale, with one person remaining out as the winner. Unique gameplay PUBG (short for players) it encourages gamers to enjoy it with friends, and it only takes a short time for him to become very popular.
Less than a month ago, PUBG reportedly sold eight million copies. The information is very interesting considering the game actually has not been released officially. Currently, new games are available in Early Access versions. And it's just that Bluehole team creations have gained an important achievement, and it may be their biggest record: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds beat Dota 2 as the game with the largest number of active players.
This is of course not long. When this article was written, Steam Stats pointed out that Dota 2 re-seized his throne, and the number of active players PUBG had slipped down Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. But one important info you can see there: 'peak today' PBGU is higher than Dota 2 with the numbers 877,844 versus 838,519. In this morning, this game is again in the runner-up sequence.
Like other Early Access titles, 'access' to enjoy PlayerUnknown's Battleground is sold at a relatively cheap price. Maybe this is one of the reasons gamers flocked to buy it, plus the invitation of fellow friends. Game director Brendan Greene once expressed his desire to develop PUBG into an eSport game, and you may have seen many game tournaments start playing the game.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds basically presents a deathmatch mode that can be followed by a hundred players. You can choose to join the game alone, or with friends. Players enter there by skydiving without provisioning. They have to find their own weaponry and are welcome to use motor vehicles. The more dangerous the location is, the greater your chances of getting better weapons.
The game presents an area of 8 × 8-kilometers and will shrink as the player decreases to ensure the participants meet. PUBG can be enjoyed from the perspective of the first person or third person, each having their own weaknesses and advantages.
PUBG you can buy and play now on PC via Steam just by paying $ 120.00 dollars only. Bluehole developers plan to launch this game on the Xbox One console along with the release of its retail version on PC in the fourth quarter of 2017.
$120? Sheesh lol
Bunch of people running around naked with Frying Pan!
pubg way better
Maybe when it leaves beta the bugs will be fixed
Good article! I love these games
Probably the main cause of all those Xbox1x preorders
I can understand why people play MOBA and FPS such as CS:GO, COD, BF but this game is big NOPE!
the reviews on steam are a bit off-putting tbh
Dota 2 (one of the) most popular game(s) on Steam? I don't know anybody who even played that game before. Are those bots and/or poor but big countries playing?
IDK About that 120$ but I am not paying 20$ in PUBG when it is ripping off H1Z1 and Last Man Standing
