    >>>>>> Got That Velocity !! >>>>

Split/Second was an arcade racing game developed  Black Rock Studio and was published by Disney Interactive Studios.
In Europe, the game was released by the title Split/Second: Velocity.

The Game was released on 18th May 2010, on the platforms PS3, PSP, Xbox360, PC.

This game deals with very out of the box way to play racing games and that you will be going to understand if you read the whole article.

    Game Play

In the game, players take part in a Fictional reality Brutal TV Show where participants race for money.

While the race the players can build up there power play meter to by drifting and stunting.

The power play can be used to destroy the other racers, for example, using the dynamite rain from the helicopter onto to racer below it.

Power play can also be used to open some secret shortcuts within the race.

These power plays are used when the symbol appears on the screen and these symbols always come whenever the player is near some shortcuts or destroyable areas.

Their are two type power play one is basic which can be used for destroying players or using shortcuts and other is only usable if the power meter is fully red and extreme and this is the coolest stuff you will found through the entire game and that is when you use this Super Power Play a massive amount of destruction happens which will make a new path for you and other players and the racers on the older track will get destroyed by the destruction.

The AI used in the game is kind of great because the machine has to take decisions in a very small amount of time for example when a player is below the helicopter and one of the CPU racers is behind you and he has all the requirement to do the dynamite rain he will do it.

The developers also wanted to make the Game Play-UI as simple as it can and that is why they take away all unnecessary elements such as speedometer and map.

They wanted to this because they want the player to experience the cinematic in the game in an as best way as possible.

The game has a multiplayer mode online and offline.

In Online mode, the player can invite his/her friends or can play with other players online with the maximum player capacity of 8-player per game.

But in Offline mode, there is a limitation only 2-Players can play this game with a Split-Screen feature or one alone and can complete the career in the game.

    Graphics and Programming

The Graphics in the game was pretty great as far as that 2010 Graphics is consulted.

The Best part about the Graphics and programming in the game is that developers had created a great way the handling time in the game, by that what is mean is when you use the Level 2 or Super Power Play in the game what it actually does is it destroy a big part of map to create a new path way for the player who called the Super Power Play if there is even a “1-sec” of mistake in the coding the player who called it for his good will convert into the bad for him.

They might have used a lot of Math while creating the game.

Well because of this cinematics or I must say real-time animation in the game which takes place in seconds and that too with perfection, this game got his name Split/Second.
