It’s actually pretty surprising how straightforward Hand of Fate is when you get in to it. It is very easy to avoid any of the more complex deck building processes if you want, and jump in to the game. You start out with a dealer explaining how these cards are a game and you’re playing it with your life and all that standard RPG buildup.

There has always been something magical about blazing around a track at hundreds of miles per hour. Many games have iterated on the idea, with classics like Wipeout, F-Zero, and Rollcage, but recently this type of game has fallen away from the mainstream.

If you were a fan of any of those classic ultra fast racing games, or even just thought Star Wars Episode 1 Racer for the N64 was cool, you're probably a good candidate for strapping in to Redout. It easily supplies all of the reaction-testing challenge of the games that inspired it while adding just enough freshness to set it apart in direct comparison.

This racer is incredibly fast, the graphics are not amazing but it looks good and smooth at 1080p60. So in effect the sense of speed is tremendous. The music is way better than in Wipeout Omega Collection. There are many tracks and variants. The later ones are crazy and I like some a lot. Too bad no one plays this game online. But there is splitscreen which I haven't tried. It's a very good anti gravity racer and who likes that should buy this. The money was worth to me
