Is Jack Arthur's son? in red dead redemption

Jack is actually Arthur's son. Think about what Arthur decides to do, look at Jack, then look at John. I'm not going to list the enormous litany of clues. This starts to become apparent very early on in the game when it's first discussed about John's disappearance right around the time of Jack's birth My personal opinion is: So, it's never directly stated, though it is written on the walls very plainly if you pay attention a lot of the situational subtext. Jack is actually Arthur's son. Think about what Arthur decides to do, look at Jack, then look at John. I'm not going to list the enormous litany of clues. This starts to become apparent very early on in the game when it's first discussed about John's disappearance right around the time of Jack's birth. (Too hard to deal with the woman he loves having another man's baby). Meta sequel clue = Dutch directly states(coarsely) that Abigail had had relationship(s) with other men or a man in the gang. He does say that she slept with all of them, but that part sounds like exaggeration, probably with something more a long the line that Abigail had a fling with Arthur (which he sires Jack). John is very sentimental about everything that Arthur did for him, he keeps the pictures of his family and even proposes to Abigail using the ring that he would have used to propose to the woman that would have been his wife. Arthur wanted John to get out with Abigail because it was too late for him. He wanted a better future for his son, Jack. Discuss, please no trolling, and full RDR and RDR2 story spoilers for Arthur/John/Jack/Abigail and all related to their story.

I thought that too at one point, but no. Arthur was just close to Abigail and because he didn't like what John did when Jack was born, he looked out for them. If anything, John was in denial about Jack being his and became accepting of it because of Arthur. Considering Arthur had a son, if Jack was his, he would have said so.
