Hello tetra, i currently have 1300 hours in csgo, so i am very experienced. when i first started i decided to solo q, my first ever rank was the lowest which is silver 1 and in my opinion i think everyone should start at this rank as everyone has the same goal and everyone is at a similar level of gameplay. Also, when i played at this level which was 4 years ago, i made friends that i still talk and play with today. You create friendships and strong bonds as you work through the ranks and progress your skill together. However, before you get into a competitive match i would say you should download this workshop map called 'aim botz'. It is a very useful tool to help you with your aim which you will need and will give you an advantage before going into competitive csgo.
