As usual, the name of the game is pick your waifu/husbando/thingy you like best because seriously this game is easy enough to clear without any "must-have" unit unless almost every other mobage out there.
If you want a useful servant in general and don't have a particular build in mind, pick Helena since you can never go wrong with a 20% NP party-charge along with 20% card effectiveness increment.
If you, like me, are a collector of unique servants, here's the list of STORY-LOCKED ones to pick from. They couldn't spook you in the general pool so here's the time grab them. I'm still on the fence but will probably go for Gorgon if nothing changes in the next few days:
