Othercide is a game released on July 28, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox ONE. This title was produced by Lightbulb Crew - a French studio that has so far become famous for Games of Glory. However, while creating Othercide, the developer didn't fetch ideas from its previous works, but from hits such as XCOM and Dark Souls. This is how an interesting tactical game with RPG elements, in the roguelike style, was created.
In this title, we play the role of a group of heroines who have to fight the forces of evil. The fights take place in a turn-based system, while the gameplay is observed from an isometric view. An interesting solution are moral choices that affect the development of the plot.
The fight between good and evil has been going on for centuries. The main thing is to choose the right side of the conflict. In the fantastic world of Othercide, we have the opportunity to face the forces of evil, playing the role of brave heroines called the Daughters.
The game is set in a dark fantasy world that has been overrun by mysterious forces from another dimension. These forces destroy everything in their path, introducing chaos. The Daughters must stop the invader at all costs, no matter what their fate turns out to be.
